This project is a personal hobby site operated by an individual. We care about your privacy. This page describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Controller

For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the controller is an individual based in Sweden. You can reach us at hello@thetoolboxsite.com.

Information We Collect

• Usage data: basic analytics about page views and interactions. We use Vercel Analytics for aggregate, privacy‑friendly metrics (no personal profiles are built).
• Contact messages: if you send a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email, subject, and message contents.

How We Use Information

• To operate and improve the site and its tools.
• To respond to your message if you contact us.

Service Providers

• Hosting and analytics by Vercel. Aggregate usage data helps us understand traffic and performance.
• Email delivery by Resend for contact form messages. Message details are processed to deliver your email to us.

Data Retention

Contact form messages are delivered to our inbox and not stored in a database on this site. Third‑party services may retain logs as part of their operations. We keep emails only as long as reasonably necessary to respond and maintain records, after which they may be deleted.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies/Local Storage, for example to remember theme preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.

Legal Basis (GDPR)

• Legitimate interests: to operate the site and understand basic usage (analytics).
• Consent/Contract: when you choose to contact us, we process your message to respond.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object or restrict certain processing. You can request access or deletion of contact messages you have sent to us by emailing hello@thetoolboxsite.com or via our contact page.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
